Samsung Back to Windows Phone ?
According to the Korea Times, Samsung is considering a Windows Phone handset back on garapannya. Samsung also reported to be conducting a pilot program to test the operating system on the device. However, Samsung is not going to move without the agreement from Microsoft.
"If the company completed their litigation, then Samsung will produce handsets with plaftform developed by Microsoft," said one source in Korea Time. "The timing could be the fastest in the third quarter of this year," as reported by Winbeta, Monday (12/01/2015).
As is known, in August last year, Microsoft filed a legal action against Samsung over a contract dispute that occurred in 2011. At that time, Samsung signed a legally binding contract with Microsoft in IP cross-licensing agreement regarding the Android patent.
After fulfilling the agreement, Samsung agreed to pay Microsoft to use Android patent. Unfortunately, the acquisition will be undertaken Microsoft to Nokia as a reason that Samsung did not pay Microsoft.
Samsung also claims that with the acquisition, now makes Microsoft as a competitor in the mobile market. In addition, Samsung also had claimed that Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia is to cancel the agreement with Samsung.
