Extend Range of Cheap Smartphone, Xiaomi Official Announces Redmi 2

Company from China smartphone, Xiaomi, start in 2015 with the launch of a new device that comes from cheap Redmi smartphone product line, namely Redmi 2. As the successor Redmi 1S, Redmi 2 presents a number of improvements that made him superior to its predecessor.

Redmi 2 is powered by a quad-core 64-bit from Qualcomm, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory area, the core 8 megapixel camera and a secondary 2 megapixel camera. He also supports dual SIM with 4G LTE connectivity. As Redmi 1S, Redmi 2 is equipped with a 1280x720 resolution display measuring 4.7 inches.

In the software, Redmi 2 runs in the top of the Android operating system called MIUI modifications. For consumers who love the brightly colored smartphone, Xiaomi has been providing a wide selection of colors such as black, pink, yellow and light green for Redmi 2.

Along with the announcement Redmi 2, Xiaomi also announced that it has sold more than 60 million units of smartphones in 2014. That figure rose as much as 227 percent from the previous year. In addition, the Chinese-based company bagged as high as 74.3 billion yuan revenue. The figure rose by 135 percent from 2013.
